It’s almost Mother”s Day!
I want to take this opportunity to commend all the teenage moms who made the decision to take on the responsibility of keeping their babies and raising them. God bless you!
Next, to the amazing grandparent or grandparents who accepted the challenge of caring for young kids in your older years.
You represent the part of our community who can’t stand to see children end up in the system. You represent those of us who value family ties.
As a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother I was never able to allow our precious seed to be cast aside. I could almost hear the voice of a small child crying and asking this question, “Grandma, why am I in this stranger’s house?
Were you too old, or too sick. or too poor to keep me?” Being unable to say yes to any of the question I found it to be a good idea to keep our precious family together.
When unfortunate circumstances call for giving up a child i sadly do it. But otherwise hang on and God will help you make it work. Remember Jesus loves all little ones. Take good care of God’s Seed.
