God is calling for all of us to become diligent about the work of the kingdom. We must put forth a constant and earnest effort to accomplish what needs to be done to win the lost.
Diligent behavior lets others know what type of work ethic we have. This is one area we all need to do better in.
In the book of Hebrews 6:11-12 we are reminded of this, “We want each of you to show the same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
Diligence is a virtue. Combine diligence with faith and you have a key to a blessed life.
Remember the old saying about the early bird gets the worm.
So as you live life to the fullest don”t forget who made the bird and the worm. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.
Go after the things that make the kingdom of God great.
We are the only hope the world has. That is a great responsibility. Are you doing your part?
Proverbs 13:12 reminds us that hope deferred makes the heart sick. Let’s be diligent and use our God given talents and abilities to make this world a better place by mending some broken hearts.
Perhaps if we would stop complaining so much about everything and everybody, we might be able to accomplish more. The Israelite people complained and complained until God was grieved and they suffered the consequences of their behavior. Our way around paying consequences for bad behavior is Obedience.
Trust God and obey and have a blessed day!
