Do you feel like the little ram that was caught in the thicket? Are the cares of this life getting you down? Our problems can very easily feel like we’re in a brier patch. but just remember one thing, you don’t have to stay all tangled up.
If you can think back with me for a moment , I’d like to remind you about Abraham who was told by God to take the life on his own son. Because Abraham willingly obeyed God, a last minute provision was made for him.. a ram was caught in the thicket and he walked over to the bush and freed it.
Often times our brier patch is created out of disobedience, lack of knowledge, selfishness, and much much more. But the good new is Jesus is standing by to pull you out of the mess you are in. Just like the little lamb, He’ll pick you up and free you..
Can”t you hear Him saying,”I’m the Good Shepherd, I know you are hurt and you need my tender, loving care and I’ve heard your cry. Trust me and we together can make things right.Go
God loves you and remember, He willingly gave His only son to save you and grant you eternal life.
