Today I’m pausing just for a moment to say thank you to a very special person who came into my life many, many years ago.  Anita is my sister-in-law who has now become my dear friend and a sister to me.

Several days ago I was sharing with another friend how amazing God is. in how He manages to bring people into our lives.

I  would like to thank my dear brother Richard who was brave and ambitious enough to leave our little country town of Fernwood, Ohio .My brother wanted to see the world and make a good name for himself and that he has done.

When Richard joined the U/S. Army I’m certain he had no idea that this amazing young lady would become his wife. We all know that God Himself has told us in His Word : He that finds a wife, finds a good thing.  So you see in his desire to see the world he was blessed with Anita.

If Richard had not been stationed in England he would not have met Anita.  She was studying to be a Nurse at the University and God allowed this marvelous divine connection to take place.

Our family has truly been blessed to have you .  Your love and kindness is a great attribute and I’m really thankful for your steadfast and unchangeable ways down through the years.

When I view the world map and I see that you were born in Mauritius, an Island in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Africa, what can I say other than “God has brought you from a mighty long way to be a blessing to me “!

To all of you who may have a sister-in-law that you are not too fond of, ask Jesus to give you a little more love and grace in your heart and you may find that friend and sister you’ve been looking for.

Give thanks for good solid relationships they are few and far between.

Happy Thanksgiving!
