Today my heart goes out to millions of young men and some older men who have fathered children and because of bad circumstances they have not played a role in the child’s life.
Most often our selfish acts will lead us down bad paths, but somewhere along the way there are opportunities to change. So if you happen to read this blog and you are one of the individuals who has children and you know who they are and you know where they are a card would be a start. By the way you could make it two cards. Buy one for the Mom who was involved. Tell this woman that you are sorry for the foolishness that has created such a hectic life. That in itself will create a working ground. It’ not about you!
Children are easy to please when they are desperately searching for answers. Little things will mean a lot.
In the end as the child grows older perhaps they’ll be able to say ‘Well, at least my dad sent me cards down through the years!
This may seem stupid or too simple of a solution, but it’s a start.
More important than the earthly father, keep the children focused on our Heavenly Father. One who loves them and will provide for them. A Father who is so amazing He will give you the ability to forgive and honor your father and mother regardless of your unfortunate circumstances of life.
Remember this, the father of lies who is the Devil encourages you to be bitter, hateful, and unforgiving, and feel sorry for yourself. He knows that all these attitudes will be the very stumbling blocks that will hold you back from a blessed life.
Don’t miss out on everything! Eternal life awaits you! You’ll win in the end if you will Just Give Your Life To Jesus. The most simple plan for progress and Success!
